That's backwards, used B-pipes go for $600+, used dry pipes go for $300-$500 and make more power. Buzzard is probably talking about the guys putting 48mm carbs on 701s.Getting rid of a bpipe for a dry pipe lol.

With the right setup, more power where it counts, why do you think everybody is swapping their B pipes for Powerfactor pipes?More power where though..Isn't that a mod/top end pipe?

Fullspec 46 single@lanmine657 what carb(s) are you running?
Fullspec 46 single
they are very expensive, but had a few favors coming my way and ended up with a fullspec in my lap, I got a buckshot 46 forsale if your interestedDid you purchase the carb new or used? I'd assume the novis/full specs are far more expensive?
The more people that think like this, the more $250 dry pipes I can buy.Powerfactor I understand, but wouldn't swap for a type 4..I run my B fairly dry and haven't had any problems..actually just the opposite it doesn't ever really get that hot..may be jetted a bit rich though not too sure..

The big engines can move enouth air to make a true bore carb work. A small engine, especially single carb can be difficult to tune for sustained full throttle. Use a standard SBN46, it has a smaller venturi that is more forgiving on single setups. Not trying to start a war but any thoughts on which is best? Bomb sight, the holes, or the spigot? Seems most pros and large engine builders use novis or full specs
Yep can't go wrong with a good set of sbn46s. And all the money you would save as wellThe big engines can move enouth air to make a true bore carb work.
