Thanks, it was definitely parted out, but not stolen. The guy there told me the PO dumped it there after pulling the motor out to put in another ski over 10 years ago. Some guys think the B1 is garbage because its so small and they can't stay on it.
Me too!
Unless you have a title with it, you should still get it checked out.
I know a guy who picked up an old 550 out of a retired guy's yard. The guy even advertised it on Craigslist as free, come take it. My buddy had it for nearly 6 years on a private lake, went to register it, and found out it was stolen nearly 12 years before.
Just saying, if you don't have a title, assume it's stolen, no matter what story the previous owner tells you about it.
I was born and raised on Guam. It is a tropical Island and it is very beautiful. The main industry here is tourism with about 80% coming from Japan, but there is a very large military presence that contributes to the economy as well. We are the most well developed island in our region which is a good and bad thing the way I see it. The surf riding here is great, and local laws are really laid back when it comes to riding spots. There are areas that we go to from the ocean that surfers cant get to without a boat. The problem with riding in these remote areas is safety. About 90% of all the breaks here are reef, sooooooooo if something were to happen you would be really far from rescue. Also, riding a standup for long distances can really suck with large swells. Ohh yeah, the island is so small the whole dang thing is 13, 144, so try a screenshot and ill let you know how that place you saw is.Sorry to get off topic here, but how did you come about living in Guam? Where you born there? What's it like?, it looks like a potential Tropical wonderland to me. I did notice a lot of development for such a remote island, is that all Military? But most important, How's the surf riding in Guam? Are there lots of surfers who make all the good spots off limits? A quick Google Earth check and I found this spot; 13.556634,144.810581 Looks like it could be on with a solid swell.
I lived on Guam and graduated from UOG back in 1997. My avatar pic is actually Saipan in 2002. The surf spots on Guam I can say are down right sketchy for the most part. Take a Hawaii Pipe Line type break and then make it really shallow. I remember lots of paddling with my arms out to the side because there was not enough water underneath me.
Where do you ride at?
Scott
Humid as hell describes it well, but with global warming its getting cooler! So you found the G huh? AwesomeThats awesome when I lived in hawaii. We went to Guam to do a small job on the uss Niagara falls. It was nice but humid as hell. Then the a.c. in our hotel room quit working. We spent several nights at club gspot

Weather is good right now. Really windy and cool, it should be smoking already. A tropical storm wizzed by a month ago, and typhoon season is 5 months away. We have not had a Super Typhoon in over 12 years when they hit us almost every year in the 90's.Is it really getting cooler there!? Sounds and looks amazing man!
Yeah we found it all right.Humid as hell describes it well, but with global warming its getting cooler! So you found the G huh? Awesome
Here's an old old pic of Merizo (Malleso) Red Bouy on a mid size day. I would think the left at Yigo Bay would be fun to ride as well if you could find a way to put in the water...maybe at the cemetary on the south side at high tide? Isn't there a small boat ramp somewhere near Yigo Bay?
FYI-If anyone thinks it's a surfers paradise think again...most of the coastline is a death trap waiting to happen. It's super sketchy most places.
