Hi Guys

Looking at replacing my stock B1 bars for either 7/8 Pro Tapers or Blowsion bars.

Any recommendations? What pro taper bend is best for the average rider?

Cheers

I'm using stock steering. I mainly ride my blaster when the waves are big in Lake Erie

Sounds like you're more into freestyle riding. You'll want as much rise as you can get.. and the blaster bars are super low.. I had them on my last blaster and it drove me nuts with the factory steering. Its almost uncomfortable bending over to them when you're trying jump waves all day. Get a set of MX bars with more rise, the pastrana fmx bend and the CR high bend are amongst the highest I believe. Get a fat bar style so you can run the pro taper adaptors and get an extra 3/4" on top of that!

I have some Pro Taper bars on my B1 and they are at such an angle that they hurt my wrist after a few minutes of riding. The Blowsion bars I had on before were much better but too low.

I know this is a dated thread but I just purchased a bone-stock B1 and handlebars are likely the first mod i will make.
My blaster riding experience is zero. i have a superjet and a couch.
I did climb up on the blaster and know the stock handlebars are gonna be WAY too low for me.
I am 6'6" tall and 220 lbs. for reference. I also felt like the seat was too low - but that is par for the course i suppose since I'm so tall.
I have never messed with handlebars before and appreciate any details so I can order.
When I see 1-1/8 spec on handlebars, is that only at the clamping area? So they would be standard 7/8" OD at the grip area?
What width etc. work best for flat lake ripping and boat wake fun?
Thanks!!!

Go to your local MX shop and look at the 7/8 bar options and pick out a set that you like. On the blaster you do not use the seat for sitting. :)
