do you use these straps for anything other then br and flips? can someone post pic of where the strap is on there blaster
I use them all the time. My feet are always in them, I feel a lot more connected to the ski. They're helpfull with turning also.

It's a personal preference really.

The only time I use my straps is when I plan on getting inverted. I like to move around on the ski alot, I don't enjoy being limited to one foot placement. Ross on the other hand, keeps his feet in the straps the entire time he's riding someones blaster.

Different strokes for different folks.

I take the battery box out. Take out a little foam where the ends of the bolts are gonna go. 4 stainless 1/8th" plates predrilled to match strap holes. 5200 on the top of plates, put the bolts w/ washers through the strap ends and nut them up. Some do not prefer this method :sneaky: but the deck is not swiss cheesed and the plates underneath provide the base coverage needed for pressure. As well as I care about my skis I would not do anything that would fork them up.

yeah, ive done that before too. just epoxy an aluminum bar onto the ski under the hydroturf. then you can drill/tap it and use that to hold the straps.
I actually put my aluminum under the the hull and used bolts and nuts. I didn't know if I trusted taping bar aluminum.

Speaking of Blaster barrel rolls... I did my first today :biggreen:. Unfortunately the only cameras we had were back at the ramp so all the ones I got go something like this. If your feet are six feet above the handlebars when you land, does it still count as a br?? Yes I used the straps....
edit, was using a full face helmet too

sometimes it's ok to let go...

BTW broken noses add character. keep up the good work. :cheer:

My feet came out a few times...best bet is to let er go when that happens. But um...I guess that is a little obvious at this point.

Knarly lookin pics, but congrats on the roll all the same! I'm sure they will get easier.

I guess not! It happened pretty quick. I had my mind set to hold on for dear life because the grips on this particular blaster were loose. I was like Wile E. Coyote by the time I realized my feet had slipped... :1244: So for anyone coming to this thread for advice, here's your lesson on what not to do.
