Surfriding Blaster Build *

Started this build about three weeks ago. Hoping to be done with it in a week and a half.
About half way done installing the Carter B rocker nose kit. Got all the glass work done on the outside, moving on to the inside next. all stock when we started out, going to be putting on a Coffman pipe, jet dynamics intake grate, tdr waterbox all going in as soon as the nose is finished.. Hoping to do a lot more changes along the way.

Any other modification recommendations ? This ski's gonna be setup for mainly surf riding

How bad was it to cut the nose and fiber glass in the new nose? Did you make a template?
Carter B sends really detailed instructions and templates to use for cutting the original hull. The measurements he sent where right on for fitting on the new piece.
It seems pretty intimidating at first but once you get into the project it really isn't that difficult. We're still in the process of laying glass on the inside but it gets easier as you go for sure.

Well I guess I'm screwed then lol. I'll try it when I start my superjet build

On a real note. The project isn't hard it's just time consuming and meticulous. I'd say the hardest thing about this project was the prep work. Then again we aren't don't yet so I could run into something down the road. I say you should go for it. It's a lot of work but it will be worth it in the end. That being said good luck to you and I hope it all works. Feel free to ask us any other questions about this build. We will be happy answer them. Also Carter B has made himself easily accessible by phone or email so that's been a huge help.

@ella.serphin , a suggested mod list for your build lol. ( go to 6:10 in the video)

After seeing this, I know I'll be ripping apart my blaster next
We've got the tail mod too! We plan on tackling that next winter sense we where on a time crunch this month for the nose. But Luke's ski is pretty dialed. He made me want the rocker in the first place !

Where did you get the tail mod from? I might as well start buying everything now so that way come first snow fall, I start hacking up the hull

Awesome! @ella.serphine What kind of prop and pitch are you putting into it? Anyone have any suggestions for a good setup when it comes to props and pitches for a freestyle blaster?

Sorry meant to say awesome composites. Not agx and I currently have a stock superjet prop on it. I hear a lot of people recommend a 9/15 pitch though!
