Blaster extended Nozzle improves turn radius ??

I have a B1 Blaster and noticed that I am not quite happy with the turn radius or how sharp it turns. What can i do to improve this ?

Extended Nozzle ? Is there a do it yourself quick steer possible ?

Any input appreciated.

Yeah you can either drill a new hole further out where your steering cable mounts to the bar assembly or you can make a little extender bracket. Then you have to notch the rear of your turn nozzle so it doesn't bind against the exit nozzle. Then if you still need more turn then move the pivot mount in a half inch or so at the turn nozzle (that seemed to cause my cable to bind if I did the bracket and relocated the nozzle pivot). Realign your steering by adjusting the cable ends and you got a night and day difference! I won't ride any other way. I like a dcut on the ride plate to help with turning too.

(need to notch a little more than this usually)

There is a quick steer mod that will not only give you more throw at the nozzle but also quicker movement. It's done the same way as on the sj's; move the steering links in on the nozzle and out on the steering. If you look close, you can see the original holes and how much I was able to move them with out binding the cable (this is important unless you like installing new cables).

EDIT: Whoops, I was a little late, but yeah I just drilled a new hole as apposed to extending the arm like above. I was able to max out the cable's throw so I didn't see a reason move the pivot point out any further...

Yeah the only reason to do the bracket is if all you have are some cheapy harbor freight drill bits and don't have the patience for drilling through stainless. I did this bracket for a friend but he had to move the pivot at the nozzle back out to its normal spot for the cable to not bind.

Put a set of these sponsons on your B1, & I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
I've got an 800 in there, & the handling is even better than the acceleration.
It'll be the best $100 you ever invested in your ski.
Oh yeah, the sponsons & mounting bracket's are off an '03 GPR800.
.... don't forget to order the 6 bolts as well ;-)
