I found an old thread that ExtremeThrottle was making them for 60$ a set but I haven't been able to get a hold of them. Does anyone else make them or have a set for sale?

I found a set by posting on the Facebook blaster group. They bruise the tops of my feet pretty bad even with socks and Jetribe boots. I might have to try thicker turf or go to straps.

You should def go to straps and sell me your footholds! =P Or try some hydroturf padding on them.

I currently run Dakine straps, but been waiting on my 701 straps to come in. So far the Dakines have been good except they are think when you stand on them, and the 701 straps are thinner and shouldn't be as bad to stand or land on.

X2 I noticed them on a write up in SBT ( Waveblaster makeover) parts book over a year ago. I've been wanting to try them. I move my feet around to much and these look like they would be out of the way more than the ankle twisters like the 701's. So they are not to be found to buy new anymore?

I have seen some of the Australian riders love the 701 straps even some that don't usually like straps. They like how easy they are to pull out of compared to the Dakine straps.

701 products are top notch. I recently installed the transom plate, rear exhaust, surf wedge and QS-S steering. Looks awesome and will be trying out this weekend finally. Understand I'm not doing back flips or roles but jumping boat wakes on lakes. I just need some way to allow free movement of my feet but be able to get the ass end of my ski lifted up. Blasters are so ass heavy anyway, especially on flat water. has anyone tried a rubber foot strap from a water ski, not the entire strap just the front part . Correct me I'm wrong but isn't the 701 strap made of aluminum. Better to experiment with something first. If someone has foot straps as shown above and no one else wants them PM me.

The 701 Surf Strap, as with nearly all my surf mods, are product of R&D with the best freeriders not only in Aus but from other countries as well. Your foot needs to be secured in a foot hold, not just hanging under some bracket . If your foot was to come free while doing a trick it could end bad. The tapered design of the Surf Strap makes it fit any shoe. The smaller the foot the more it goes in. Being a urethane, not only impervious to the elements, but stretches and forms around your foot. These Surf Straps will hold you in, but simple lift your heel, and you can easily remove your foot. A lot of riders fit straps in the wrong place. The 701 Surf strap is designed to be fitted at the base of the angled section. This allows you the freedom to move your feet without the restriction of the strap. When it comes time to lock in, you simple kick into them. The straps that are fitted where you stand, end up being a pain as you are always standing on them. The Surf strap being moulded, if you do stand on them , they will flatten ,but will go back to there shape as soon as you step off them. I have seen many other brand straps just stay down after standing on them for a while. Every thing about the 701 strap has been well thought about and tested by the best to give the Blaster riders the very best money can buy. Its not rocket science, your feet need to be SECURED for freeride tricks.
