Blaster Blaster guys don't like me????

WTF.. I posted two questions on the blaster forum. One was what is a good paint code match for '96 blaster red, and what engine build guidelines would you give correspondent to what pipe ("B" Mod or Limited) and got a whole bunch of views but no responses. Meanwhile the guys are chatting up what they are going to do to their blasters this winter on another post. Is this some chummy click you have to get into to get a response?? I picked up 3 '96 blasters this fall and am trying to build up two of them for surf boats for a friend. I'm thinking of gutting one and cutting up the hull with something crude like a chainsaw and posting it on YOUTUBE just for kicks if I don't start getting some answers!!!!

How much for a hull shipped ???...... JK, these guys like to see pics and then they usually chatter up a storm .And for your motor, what is the budget they want to stay under, Im sure each person's is different ? engs range anywhere from 1000 to 10,000 with a mod or limited pipe ''seriously ''. so post a pic ,ask a question , show some progress on a thread ,and the help you will recieve will be above your limits of expertise .but a GOOD RELIABLE surf boat will eat up 1000's of $ I also recommend a MAG pump and big hub prop at $750 total expenditure for hookup in the wash ! now lets see some dust !

Well, you can't always expect an answer out of everyone... I mean, you can count me as at least two views because after you posted it, I read it, so there's one, and I opened it again after it got a reply...

I don't have an answer for you because I don't know it, but I want to learn regardless, so I'll open a thread just to read it and the responses.

We like you! I just don't have an answer for the paint code. As for the pipe question, I am sure there are plenty of threads you can search for to find that info!

96 is red right? Search Dustin mustangs build up, he used a krylon spray bomb job that matches up well.

And I haven't read your thread in question but if it's a common, vague, newb question most won't bother helping as the info is here and you need to do work yourself. (i.e. search and read)

Or you need to buy a big $ ski so then those chummy folks who only post whore to their buds threads or Freak builds and you'll get your attention you desire.

i surf a blaster with 500gph rule bilge, stock siphon, 780cc 61x/62t bigbore with 46m taperboared sbn, blaster mod chamber and umi steering, i honestly forget what pitch prop and stock pump. i love the powerplant, it rips hard. i would suggest going to groupk.com and start reading. does that help? also instead of trying to match paint just paint it another color

...but i just finished building up my first sj so maybe the BB will find its way into the sj

either pipe works great ltd or mod, i like the mod pipe better it does not use the crazy factory pipe tubing that seems to crack some time, cleaneer look in the hull

Any decent paint shop can shoot the boat with the magic eye and come up with a color match, there I helped even though I don't like you and I am not a Blaster guy J/K MAN J/K

Go to home depot and look at the tops of the spray paint can. Thats what alot of guys do.
