i have a Riva dry pipe... the only difference i can see is that i have another outlet from the water jacket, before the stinger.
below is how i am thinking of setting up the cooling. RED jetworks FCV inline w stinger, and was thinking restricting the flow with a main jet as well, fcv will keep water out at low RPM, but the jet will still regulate how much water the pipe gets. probably make up some sort of fitting where i could throw inline and still be able to take the jet out and put in a different one. OR do you guys like using the water injection sprayers better? What are you guys using?
but i am thinking that 4 pissers is a bit too much. im running a 701 in my superjet, almost never WOT for longer than 10 seconds. To my knowledge, the pipes are suppose to run a little bit warmer, so could i take the two pissers coming off the pipe and just throw them on a 'y' fitting and out the same pisser?
after i get this setup going next year i am thinking i will see how warm the water is coming off my motor and maybe throw some adjustable water restrictors on there. i can ride in anywhere between 80+ deg water to 65 deg water. so i kind of need the ability to regulate my water temperature. (any thoughts on that? right / wrong / different way?)
