Blaster seat ???

I have searched but can't seem to find anything, I ordered a HT seat cover for my blaster and am going to shave down the rear hump and maybe lower the seat a little bit. My question is what are you guys doing with the 2 plastic side pieces? Do you just bolt them on and put the cover over it? What's the best way to go about it? Pics, links to threads, anything is helpful thank you in advance!

I believe they leave the plastic covers on there and cover over them

Hydroturf padding. you can get different thicknesses as well.

you just turf the sides? would be easier if there was a solid foam that wont absorb water so i can shape it aswell. How are there no threads on this? Does everyone just send there seats out to get done or are you guys keeping secrets ha!

Harbor freight. Gray anti fatigue mat, works wonders. Will not absorb water and is cheap

Yeah hydroturf *padding*... the stuff you put under the turf to make the tray softer on your feet.

Ahh the padding I thought you where just saying hydroturf then padding at the end. Thanks for the help I'll post some pics once I get my seat done.

Looks bad ass, thank you for posting it, I am going to shave down the rear hump and shave the complete seat down 1-2" once I get in there I'll figure out exactly what I wanna do with it. Just waiting for
Cover now and rest of the parts to show up and I'll post up a blaster build thread

Hydro turf, there actually an hour away from me so I could have taken it to them and had them do it but I prefer to do it myself don't really have time To drive down there wait for it to be done or drive down to drop it off and then have to drive back down to pick it up.

got my cover went to town on my seat and hacked the F*ck out of it... Pretty upset with myself now i have to figure out a way to fix what i ruined and figure out where to get some seat foam and reshape it all up old foam is completely done...
