Blaster Blaster section dead???

Why is the blaster section of this forum so dead????? Come on guys I know it's depressing when it starts to get cold this time of year and the season seems over. And I've already heard the dreaded four letter "S word" thrown around a few times. Speaking of which, I think a polar bear's club ride on New Years day would be pretty cool. Actually it'd be downright freezing. I just hate when it starts getting cold for the season and my riding gets cut short. I'm currently trying to chase somebody down for a wetsuit they owe me and everyone's asking when I'm gonna take the ski outta my truck for the winter. I like to leave it in there bc I still pray that it'll be really warm one day after work and I can hit the beach...

Can't stand the cold, started the winter storage/repair/repaint thing this week. Great time to ride dirt bike though. Looking forward to getting Blaster out next summer (bought it late this summer)

Im just riping a lil mx here n there n geting ready to start doing an over hual on my blaster for the new season. The cold blows kieran your lucky you dont know those words.

I had to park mine about a month ago because of school. I'm either doing some glass work to fix a rather large crack from the previous owner or am gonna sell it now that it's working.

I just got my wetsuit and I NEED to get it in the water at least once I just got it a week ago or so. And I also have a crack to fix along the top of the right footrail. Don't know if it was there before I bought it or if it happened when some guy cut me off and I had to slam my brakes with it in the back of my truck... It's BONE stock except for a primer. I wanna shave the seat, install the foot straps, re-turf it, pipe it, get some wider bars for starters... I'm selling my dirt bike and debating whether to trade/ buy a quad for the wintertime or to dump $$ into the blaster and keep a little cash in my pocket...

Oh here come the southern boys. "whats this winter/cold/snow you speak of?" Us northerners love it up here 3/4ths of the year, its only that 1/4th we hate and wish we were down there with ya! Probally a good thing we stay up here, you Flordians have enough wacko's down there!

My blaster is only getting minor love this winter. One bad crack in lower side hull is getting fixed. Finally installing a primer, that sat on the shelf almost all summer. Switching impellars. Some new stickers. Reeds. That's about it for now I think.

I do enjoy all four seasons here though.

But I think the skis are pissed that I left them outside.

Well if you can ride all year you probably don't need a sled. But....there is always water skipping with the sled.

I lived up north on LI for 20 years. I hated putting my toys up for the winter. It's pretty sweet to be able to enjoy em all year long. I dont miss the cold at all. Good riddence.

It's an 89. It's actualy my sons, but for mostly stock runs great.

I like the change of seasons, Jet ski when it's hot, Mx and off road when it's cool, Streetbike 10 months a year (electric vest when it's cold) used to snowmobile but we don't get enough snow any more. (don't like the long drive north to find it) I feel spoiled. Painted the Blaster today, the cold weather gives me time to work on ski's too which is nice. I must say, Florida in the winter would be nice though.

Went out for a trial by sea/ first ride on a WB1 yesterday.. Two things right off the bat, I see why these things have a cult following, its tricky to ride but sooo fun even stock with an intake grate. And it was fricken freezing mr bigglesworth. 4-3 wetsuit was warm enough but it takes me forever to get out of it and I need a hood & gloves. I regret not bringing a camera because the waves on the ocean were perfect. I caught a little air but didn't go crazy bc I was the only one there except for a friend who helped me load the ski in n out of my truck he opted to stay out of the water. Can't wait for my buddy to finish restoring the sxi pro I sold him and get a wetsuit.
