Just got a clean setup for my boat. What i need to know is what position should the cut out be for the cables to pass through.

I didn`t get any intructions with it, And i`m guessing it should go at 1 o`clock position.

Does that sound right.

The one I had was setup at the 11 o'clock position and a rubber grommet was installed to prevent chaffing.

When I did mine the directions said to put it at the 9oclock position and thats what I did and it worked great.

Maybe it was at the 9:30 position. I know for sure it was on the left hand side. I really don't see how it matters too much as long as there's room for the cowl to go back on and the cables are as close to the bars as possible.

Thinking about it that would make sence, that would be a better run for the throttle cable.
