Blaster Blaster Upgrades BRAP!!

It has been a long time coming and it looks like we have reached the finish line (until the next upgrade). We will be out testing my new motor this weekend!!! :thewave:

5 mm Stroker Crank
85.5mm bore
7 port Power Valve cylinder
TNT Factory Pipe Chamber
Dual 48mm Novis
Soon to arrive Solas 12 Vein pump

Big thanks to Erik at True Performance for all his help over the past few years!

Erik hooked me up with the 760 ported motor that I have been running up until now, the motor hit great and was a nice package for the surf. We decided to step up when this deal popped up on the PV stroker. We snapped it up and have it ready to rock and roll now!

I cant thank Erik enough or repay him for the hours he has poured into my boat since he first started working on my shambles I called a ski back in 2009.

Here are some pics of pre-installation, and then with the motor in the hull getting it ready for this weekend!

wooop woop, we will let you know how she runs soon!

I know I can't wait to see how it rides with this setup. Will try and shoot a short vid once we are finished testing!

I knew the day you rode my mod ski that you wouldn't be happy until you ended up with a PV Lamey, lol.
Hope you are doing well bro. See you guys are Wavedaze.

LOL, thats the truth! I think I have measured most skis up to that as far as power, I hope mine is comparable to that, maybe need a TL system to go with it, but we will have to see how things pan out! See you soon!

You will need to make a spacer for the pump between the mag stator and your exit nozzle. It doesnt fit. Also there will be a small space between the oem wearing and the stator.

Steve, the stator section came with the spacer ring that thrust was offering. I mocked up the stator to wear ring, I see the gap you mentioned. Have there been any fixes for this or can it just be filled with a silicone or something of that nature?

Brian selles his stator section with the ring. Other suppliers dont supply the ring. Brian had them made. I am have them made as well and also a smaller one for the wearing side. I also was told from solas that you could fill the wearing side with some silicone and smooth out.

zimmy i picked up this motors twin off of pat today. he could never get it dialed in 100%. so if you or erik could let me know what you come up with for jetting as it should be a ball park for my motor.

We got Zimmy's boat started today and were going to go the water but he has a bad start stop switch and I wouldn't let him leave with it (I don't trust him to resist riding it before its right). I will soldier the connectors this week. Zimmy installed a Solas mag pump along with the TNT pipe this thing will rock. IMG_1530.jpgIMG_1532.jpgIMG_1531.jpg The low profile P/V's make working with this thing so much easier. Who said you couldn't put low P/V's in a cast cylinder? We will get the water/fuel routing a little cleaner when its all tuned in.
