Blaster wear ring

hey guys , might be a noob question but I'm looking for a wear ring for my blaster . Are the wear rings from the 144 raider and ventures different then the 144 blasters and superjets? When I look on eBay they are always listed separate and the raider and venture ones are cheaper but they look identical in the pictures, any feedback in appreciated thanks

Yea most of the time they're different. They have through holes instead of threaded holes because on raiders/ventures etc. the 4 long bolts screw into the pump shoe.

I wonder if I could just use a washer and nut with a shorter bolt to old the pump together ? Probably wouldn't have enough clearance

I suppose you could, but it would make it more difficult to remove your pump. The way I remove my pump is I just pull the 4 long bolts, and the 2 nozzle bolts, and then just leave the wear ring in the ski. Its easier much easier than pulling the whole assembly out. If you were to do it the way you're suggesting, you could only remove the entire assembly.

Only difference I have noticed is no threads. If you add helicoils it bolts right in like a normal blaster one

I've always just removed the whole assembly , but yeah that's a good idea
