Blaster's Bastard

Looks better than I imagined it! Can't wait to see how it rides, definitely need to make a surf trip once its dialed in on the motor and pump side of things!

How much does it weigh ??

dry RTR 275-280. Was a nice surprise. Knowing that it was getting some serious power, the structural integrity was top priority. Weight was 'blind' till completed.

Had to ask myself what happened to the 5+ gallons of Epoxy resin? Then I remembered....cut/ground/replaced

good stuff Craig......was really hoping you would make it down to Daytona. Sorry it didn't work out in time.....there was a lot of behind the scenes shuffling to get that motor out to you in time.

The seat came out great too! Can't wait to take it for a spin. I'm sure Zimmy will put it through it's paces and Phil/Erik will get you tuned in. Keep us posted.

Thanks Chris, I've always said, "waiting on the engine was the best thing that could have happened to this design."

The seat upholstery came out nice, and the shape is more than a saddle, there are sides that come into play for unique extended- lateral- leverage (WTF does that mean?)

It is hard to tell with the lighting and angle of the pics but looks like a big bondrail/fin/skeg? Looks like lean forward to carve hard and lean back to throw out the back end?

It has, and it does...I'll post more pics. That extended sponson is critical for a lot of why this works. The most unexpected purpose; ( hyper-extend laterally, in a turn, keep crafts attitude even, brap throttle.) Something crazy happens----------d-r-i--f---t----i-----n------g.

Prototype #3 was under powered, a 750 w/bolt on upgrades. And that was still a lot of fun. Many issues were corrected w/ this prototype, and it certainly won't be under powered.;)
