Sheet loads of fun. Going in circles seems silly, and it is =) It's kinda like taking your new bike to the parking lot to see how it handles....

Flat water shredding: It's when you can go straight, but want to throw it sideways, brap and see where that takes you.( Sideways at Higher speeds makes a really interesting ride.)

Does anyone else attempt flat water shred? I'm interested to see a blaster or standup go sideways.

Seems this will translate nicely into surf riding.

I quess...although that is the most fun i've seen on a boat.

Flat water shredding, to include drifting,( but not limited to ):

Understeering into a turn, traveling sideways @ any speed for an extended, controlled time.

Drifting sideways at high speed is something I've been doing for awhile. It is extremely VIOLENT, and yet this design makes it completely comfortable. The TPE gives me that instant 'kick' sideways.

mirrored/flat water is crazy fun, now let's throw some chops into the mix!

Words are cheap, I'll post something on the Tube. (raining today)

I'll try not to post gopro (1st person) videos, unless they provide a unique perspective.
Trying to drag the wife out to shoot from shore....

Here are some mods that have been completed, and others yet to be resolved.

done-
Dual hood ratchet system is now secure and watertight. (a big deal)
701 hood strut was modified to relieve stress points (photo)

to be resolved-
Front lip needs downward 'return', (currently front spray is only diverted straight forward)
Extend side 'fins' back 2-3"

All this testing and modifying is typical, but it is tuning up (hull and motor) well.

After a couple weeks of rail and intake hood upgrades, I couldn't wait for the 16/20. Had to get an idea how the mods affected the ride. At least The mid/high range could be tested.
It's so nice to just finally 'tweek', no-more major body panel mods, but there are some footing issues still need resolving.

Damn, that TPE964 is running strong.
