Im sure this will spark some intrest...
Hold off on the comments thoe these pictures are merely photographs of one of the few XS1 prototype preliminary testing skis- not exactly what will be released.

As mentioned in previous forum posts people wantto see some pictures of the preliminary testing (video to come), hold your judgment on the aesthetics at this point and wait for the next assortment of photographs. Impressed has been the overall consciences, may be the next best thing, another Australian Made Ski.

so did or did these guys not pull a plug off Bartons Krash hull? was this drama cleared up?

and off topic, honestly i have to say.... when the hell are poeple going to stop riping off ricks "FS-1" title? blows my mind how un original guys are. FS FR and XFS all stand for something at least FS= FreeStyle, FR= FreeRide and XFS= eXtreme FreeStyle.

what the hell does XS1,JB1,VR1,FP1,Lenz1one (what ever the hell that means, still has a 1 at the end) even stand for?????

I agree with you...it seems like a lot of these new hulls are splashed reworked versions of the Rickter and then just tacking a similar name on them, just speaking in general, I am NOT knocking on this hull at all.... The Rickter is a great design but I like to see more originality rather than a modified carbon copy.

jb1, i think stands for jetboard 1 correct me if im wrong, being a surfer himself, his even got a fin setup on the bond line on his ski now like a rear sponson, seems like he knows his stuff.

Yeah, what was Yamaha thinking with the FX-1 and FX140 and Kawasaki with the X-2?

Maybe, jetskis have been called stuff like that for a long time and they're just continuing it, just like RRP did.

no better way to get people stoked on a new hull then to release some spy photos of some high performance knee riding!!!!!! lol

i have an old knee strap off my hydroslide from 1989..maybe u could mount it in the tray?

And Rick Roy's FS originally stood for Frankenstein.

You maybe onto something... should bring out a new hull called the HPKR 1 hull ...lol

But seriously this will be good for the sport in aus as competition between builders amps up prices should come down and better hulls will result... we havent got 101 choices of local builders like you guys.

ok so today the hull had a quick test on the water with a 1997 701 superjet running gear, completely bone stock motor, ignition, pump, prop, and untuned 38's running :):):):) house no bottom end punch!! 2 of the guys managed to pull a couple test backies each, over half way round, nose in (just) on flatwater, without setup wake, just a slide 180 reefing and also with no trim! Carbs gonna get a light tune this week and a 9/15 is gonna get slapped on, as well as a trim system on the way soon! so the camera will be out then!!

He took the pics and sent them to a few people.... basically if a few people have then then every1 will in no time. The painted picture of the beach was distributed by Blow, every1 was fine with it. but yeh he did recently put his deposit down which is great as he is another guy that we regularly ride with.
