Interesting! Need some pics from the back...how wide compared to a SJ or SXR??? The one pic of that motor compartment made it look like its gonna be tough to work on!

It’s in fact 55-60mm wider than a stock Superjet, this isn’t just in the tray area but the width of the whole engine compartment making for great access to the engine components, carbs and pipe.
In the picture viewed the prototype ski was running a OEM Yamaha exhaust and standard airbox which takes up allot of space in any hull, engine can be pulled out with ease (with pipe and carbs intact) as can the standard tank and battery (which can be mounted up front or against the rear firewall)
The hood hole is the smallest it can be without sacrificing the ability to access ‘what’s necessary’ (electrical box, carbs, pipe & battery, and of course engine removable) the hood hole may be considered the most venerable section to failure on any hull OEM or aftermarket hull, not the SX1 however, with a modern re-enforced hood lip & new hood seal design, it allot more tolerant to side impact without failure.

That Black/White 'X' scheme is pretty sweet. It will be added to my list of hulls when I buy a freestyle ski after college in 3.5 years haha.
