It will depend on where the fault is. If it's in the switch itself then you are screwed, if it's anywhere else then you should be able to repair it or splice on new wires.

yes, its in the switch itself. I guess, it's worth a try before I throw $70 down the drain. I will take it appart and try to seal with 5200 after cleaning it . We will see. Thanks.
