Honestly, The WCF footholds are the best I have ever used, tried, Just be sure to reinforce them. Need to do that with all but the old 24/7's.
and mine. thats why the price is what it is. its not just one layer of chop.
I started with the old 24/7 and they hurt the top of my foot. but everyone has their own style and there is no right or wrong just what works for you.

so to be honest, I think the correct answer would be that the OP should try and fit his foot into as many holds as he can and discuss how they are padded etc. its like trying on new shoes. just because its your size does not mean it will be comfortable for you. The padding has a lot to do with it too. some of these holds with a lot of padding leaves little room for a foot. no biggie if you have a small foot. some guys have big feet and even with just turf its impossible to get a good snug fit as they can get little more than some toes in. so it would be silly to say brand x is the best. clearly as stated before in this thread an adjustable foothold would be the easiest solution to the one size fits all. Price is the issue there. and its something I am looking forward to improving on.

if you can wait a short time I am about to release 2 new sets of footholds, one is super cheap 65 shipped and the others will be adjustable. no price yet as I am still rounding up the metal/machining. but they will be affordable. molds are almost ready

I did not see this post, Im looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hey. I was pushing your hood the other day. But. I have not ridden a ski with your holds so I could not give a review on them. I do not doubt the quality.

well I can remedy that, pm your addy and we can take care of that in short order. I know it was not a negative comment toward me and even if we all agreed that the old 24/7 holds were the best, he cant get em anymore. and I am always very grateful for any of the props I get from everyone. thankyou

I haven't seen the holds you're offering but very interested. I'm in the process of getting all my parts together for a sn rebuild and that price def fits my budget. The more I read it doesn't make sense spending 250 + on adjustables when in reality I'll prob sell her in a couple years and really am just needing a wider tray. if you have any pics/links would love to see. I'll scavenge this site a lil more in search for a pic too.

I make footholds to accept 25mm pad and more pad on the top already, but am working on another version for cheap. and third set will be adjustable.

Since were posting pics of foot wells...

Here are some WCF holds/turf I put in a 08 SX-R for a friend. This pic is a year after i did the job, but you get the idea. My friend is like 6' 3" 240 lbs. football player body w/size 12/13 shoes.
