I had this problem with Tau Cetis as well....If you buy the outerwear bags (the ones that cover the top of the filter too) they will at least stay together, albeit no longer glued down. HOT Products sells them. Doesnt look as cool bc you cant see the top of the filter but its a safer bet.

i turfed the tops of mine(the prok's) works good so far. the best answer is to have 2 sets of ceits pros warrantyed for life. rotate them out.

The Rec series has the cloth. They suck!!!!!!!!

the Pro Series is just mesh. But you have to be sure to get the ones with the rubber tops not metal.

I had to run some OEM 44 covers on my Full Specs for a while due to hood issues, got the hood fixed and switched back to K&Ns......BIG difference in power. Ed kept telling me how much the stockers were cutting my air flow, he was not telling lies :bump:

And for BK, I run the racing filters with the metal tops. IMO they're just as good as the rubber top filters.
