Blowsion Pole spring issue

Called blowsion they said like their website this spring will work on the FX-1. Installed it and i'm not so sure it will work. Has anyone else came across this problem and modified the spring. I am thinking a Vice and a hammer. This pic was taken after i lowered the handle pole and let to. Luckily the limit rope helps. Thoughts???

The sj and fx1 polea are very similar early years and the same after 08. The blowsion spring has more spring than stock. Over time it will slump more.

I just put a Blowsion pole spring in my 08 SJ last weekend, I think the 08+ SJ pole is the same as the FX-1. The stock sprint did nothing the Blowsion spring is like pole Viagra. My pole now sits about eight inches from the shock pad. Have not had it in the water yet but I think I am going to really like it.

I have the same one...love it while I am riding but can be a pain when you fall and need to reach the pole when getting back on. I have noticed it has mellowed out a bit but not a ton

New spring stiff, old spring sagg. Take the hood off of ski and strap the handle pole all the way down to the hood latch to break it in when not riding. This will help losen it up.

take it out and take a propane torch and heat up 2 coils red hot then let it cool. it will soften it up and take some of the spring out. if its still too much heat up the third coil. works like a charm!

Just crank the bolt down a little more, it will remain weightless but stay wherever you let it go. The FX1 and SJ use the same spring.
