One of my friends has been working on trying to get this setup working in his FX1 and he has a 144 pump in it and it has cost him more to try to get this motor to work than it wouldve for him to buy a billet motor. Not trying to say its junk, just that its not impressive to me or the guy who's building it.

Have any details as to what problems in getting this motor to work ?

We have built 7 of those BB850, all built by us in Quebec. My mecanic did all the epoxy job and porting. All boring and sleeves installation are also done by us. We have test several duration and the final porting rip a lot for a 850. I was flatwater flipped it last summer in my carbon BOB with BJ46, solas mag, enhancer and stock electric. You can ask Proformance and marcgraham on here they have both tested my setup and we received positive comment from both. I still have 2 shortblock in stock for sale, one with wiseco piston (3200$CAN) and one with Prox pistons(3100$CAN). its come with ADA superbore head and dome. I have seen 2 people trying to built it himself without good result, but it was not professionally built, it was made to save money by un-experienced builder.

This is me riding that 850 at Belle River last year in the channel. It was a lot choppy.

The Blowsion motor guys have been doing this package for a few years now. They've gotten pretty good at it.

Too me it seems that the Price beetwen the big bore 850, and the DASA SS 850 that Nuclear6 offers is too small not too goe DASA SS just my 2 cent.

Anyone ? Thinking this type of low cost motor would be dual purpose for surf and flatwater tricks in a carbon hull.

Got a blows ion built/sponsored ss 850 in my rickter evo. Great motor for the surf and rec riding as it pulls hard but is not crazy light switch status which I was avoiding. I run dual novis, lightened flywheel, msd, b pipe. I would recommend this to anyone for dual purpose

HI guys I,m setting one up at the moment 62t bored to suit 850 sleeves with a 5 mill billet stroker , just about to put the sleeves in ! Going to put it in a carbon fiber superjet !

What do you plan to use this engine for? I looked at using the Blowsion sleeves when I started doing my 850s. Can drop the cylinder enough for stock stroke. But at +5mm stroke you wouldn't be able to drop it enough to get the exhaust port timing low enough for good low end of idle power. To get to 88 degrees atdc for exhaust opening you would have to run the piston .120 + out of the hole. And 88 degrees is still border line for good off idle power. And all of this is only works if you didn't port up any on the roof of the exhaust port.

HI guys for the reply , Thanks Nuklear for that mate , something to look out for , I bought some seadoo 89 mm 951 , pro x pistons , found out today there is 1 mm difference in the berrings , I have stock 127 mm rods in my 5 mill stroker , what rods is everyone using with the pro x ?
Put a set of dasa 89 mm wiseco next to the pro x , a heap of height difference , what size spacer plate ? what rods are you running with the wiseco,s and lengths ?
I have a 5 mill 6 mill stroker , blowsion sleeves and seadoo pistons , 62t ported case ! what is the best set up with the stuff I have than ?
Thanks for the replys and feed back guys ! Surf and flat water riding , so looking for bottom end !

Wondering how it would workout with a plus 4mm crank ?

No disrespect but it sounds like you need an engine builder to complete this ?
