A few more updated pictures.Except for minor trimming, the turf is finished.

Once I get the new couplers from Cold Fusion, the motor will be going in. I've left behind my roots of using old used parts for everything - Nearly everything on this ski right now is brand new. It's a pretty awesome feeling. I'm very happy with the way this ski has come together. Visually, the only thing left to finish is the chinpad, and the rest of the sponsor logos.

I owe a massive thanks to Ross, he spent HOURS helping me this weekend. I've never seen the man put so much care into turfing a ski, and he did the job about 100 times better than I could have.

looks awesome Jerry
Ross picked up all your parts after our ride this am, he should be home by now

Not much has changed since the last pictures, except that it's been stickered up and has it's final chin pad on.

I owe a huge thanks to all my sponsors for making this build possible. Blowsion for the amazing paint job, and Kommander Industries for the motor. The ski ran flawlessly at the surf slam this weekend, and I couldn't be happier.

I suppose to keep with spirit of build threads, I should break down the various bits and pieces of the ski.

Handling/Steering
Rick Roy Pole
Blowsion dual breather bracket
Blowsion steering kit with straight bars
Blowsion Destroyer Tubbies
Modified stock steering nozzle.
Blowsion d-cut ride plate

Driveline
Kommander Industries built 760. Same setup as Ross - mild porting, single 46 carburetor.
Cold Fusion couplers.
Skat-Trak 13-17 impeller.

Misc
Blowsion carbon chin pad
Blowsion Finger throttle
ODI Grips
Cold Fusion internal fuel filler
Cold Fusion battery box
Hydro-Turf waffle cut, two tone on the rails (obviously :) )
Blowsion kicker footholds
Dakine footstrap
Cold Fusion internal fuel filler

Beautiful ski man!
I am really digging the turf color and pattern design.

Quick insignificant question:
The rope loop you have in front, is that yellow tape you used to cover the knot or some type of connect\disconnect "thingy"?

Thanks guys, glad you like it!

The yellow is just tape. The front loops is made with a knotted rope, a hose clamp, and tape. Not the pinnacle of engineering on this ski. haha.

This is one of my personal favorite schemes. Modern/Retro/Aggressive/Balanced. Very nice boat indeed. No one loves this boat more then Jerry though.

(Fortunately haha)
