Sunday September 28 Flatwater Day at Blue Marsh Lake in PA.

It is an Army Core of Engineers Lake so it's $3 to launch but there are nice picnic facilities and restrooms.

There is plenty of parking and there is also a beach with pavilions that can be accessed by boat or car just 2 minutes away. If the ramp is crowded beach carts can be used to launch skis. The lake is plenty deep so no concerns of hitting bottom.

This is just a show up and ride event. All are welcome and yes couches too!

Hope you can make it out!

We will be using the State Hill Boat Ramp. If anyone needs directions to the ramp let me know. Here is a pdf of the area: http://www.nap.usace.army.mil/Portals/39/docs/Civil/Blue_Marsh/access map.pdf

NOTE: This event is a go, new thread coming

Fingers crossed we have good weather! This is a family friendly event. The grounds have plenty of room for everyone, especially being later in the season.

Let's move this to the other ramp. That way we have everything right there. The dry brooks ramp gets to crazy. It's to busy and way to many yahos over there.. just my take on it.

I prefer state hill but keeping it more family friendly; the bathrooms are closer and there are grills available.
My family isn't going unless its at state hill ramp. I could care less either way, but state hill is a million times more convenient. Much closer to dolly the skis, get stuff from the truck, more beer, tools, etc.
