Super Jet blue vent tube where does it go?????

So my buddy took the motor out of his rn to fix some things and now I'm stuck putting it back to gather. I have everything done but I for the life of me can't find where the blue vent tube the runs to the poll goes. I've looked on part finders and still no help. Istanbul not he one for the tank.

It goes to the white plastic water separator mounted under the hood lip on the left hand side of the engine bay. He may have removed it already which would cause some confusion.

Most guys just vent their tanks under the hood. Possibly not the safest idea but I have yet to hear of any issues with doing this. I have a short piece of hose, the one way valve and a another short loop of hose thats turns down.

Didn't realize they were different colors by design but that sounds about right. I thought green was fuel and all vents were blue.?.?.

I'm a little ignorant on why a battery needs a vent tube? Anyone care to share why? My old sxr didnt have one...

The original batteries- unlike sealed ones- have a vent on the side. The gases that may emanate from said vent while being charged consist of hydrogen (very flammable) and oxygen (will aid combustion)- google "hindenburg disaster"- However, since the outgassing mostly occurs while the engine is running, there will be enough air movement to ameliorate this threat. In summation: the blue hose can be deleted
