Some people (like myself) are harder on grips than others. I tried every tactic I've heard of and my grips still broke loose.

I'll post a pic of my hard compound MTB grips after two seasons. They are just about ready to be replaced. I'll probably have to cut the locking clamps off the bars to get them off too. I'd rather have them stuck on there than falling off though.
ODI's last me 1-2 seasons at the most. Depends on the compound

Never had any of that affect me or a weight gain of a few ounces make any differences. Each person prefers different methods I suppose.
I've been running ODI's since they came out and will never go back to standard grips! I run them on all my ski's, sleds and quads. I've used grip it with no luck, finally resorted to epoxy to keep them on, then ODI's came out and I never looked back!

If the coolaid tastes good and won't kill me ill drink it all day long. The only problem with odi is the end caps fall off. I have had a pair for 8 years now on my sxr and they are still running strong. I've never heard of anyone braking them or having them slip on them. I used oury on my xp and could never get them to stay in place, I've used lots of glue products which made the cheep grips experience. And when they came off I had to wait for everything to dry then glue then wait for the glue to dry. Just get odi they make such an outstanding product!!!!!!!
