I'll post a pic of my hard compound MTB grips after two seasons. They are just about ready to be replaced. I'll probably have to cut the locking clamps off the bars to get them off too. I'd rather have them stuck on there than falling off though.

ODI's last me 1-2 seasons at the most. Depends on the compound

Mark, heavy grips? really? are we weighing grips now?

FYI. On ODI's I use a hefty dab of thread sealant on the screw and ring threads and I've been as to take them off after a couple seasons of salt use. Prior to that the :):):):)ers were a one time use kinda thing.

See dissimilar metals. :banghead:

Odi suck. Everyone in the jet ski world just drinks the coolaid. Locking grips are also a joke.

Oury with "grip it" grip glue.

If the coolaid tastes good and won't kill me ill drink it all day long. The only problem with odi is the end caps fall off. I have had a pair for 8 years now on my sxr and they are still running strong. I've never heard of anyone braking them or having them slip on them. I used oury on my xp and could never get them to stay in place, I've used lots of glue products which made the cheep grips experience. And when they came off I had to wait for everything to dry then glue then wait for the glue to dry. Just get odi they make such an outstanding product!!!!!!!
