Bmx racing

Anyone else have there kids in bmx racing? Been a year and we are on bike number 2 already.. Went from a Micro mini to a Mini.. Cant believe how much money these things are. For the cost of a new set of cranks I could buy a whole bike from walmart. =/

Lol, just seen this. Good luck. My son started out racing bmx. That was about 6 years ago. He is now head first into mountain bikes. Dirt jumps and street. Meaning he has to have a bike for each style of riding. His mountain bike cost me about what a decent 450 dirt bike would cost

Copy that, I built myself a new one and gave him my old one. Great excuse to freshen the toys

Picked up a Moongose Elite bmx bike for cheap and I'm riding with him now. I only have a couple practice days under my belt but so far it is a lot harder then it looks!

Bottom line-most of us are still just big kids doing wheelies! I am 52 and still get on my 24" cruiser every now and again.
