I was at the lake and a kid pulled up with a honda f-12. asked how long he had it and he said since last year. he said "when i first got it it would do 70 (dream-o-meter of course). now it will barely get to 55 and i don't know why it won't do 70 anymore?" i proceded to tell him that it would not ever do 70, but if he did want it to go faster he could lube the speedo wheel on the back. he got all excited and said, with a happy look on his face, "REALLY!" then i said "no, but you could imagine."

Prolly never changed the oil, never did any winterization, 6 ft of ski rope around the drive shaft, etc, etc.. You get the idea.

Over the July 4th holiday we sat and watched a couple of idiots systematically destroy a couple of Seapoos that they borrowed "poor owner". Filled one up with water to the point that it sucked water in the engine. The other was run aground immediately after running over the anchor rope thus wrapping it around the drive shaft. They parked it for a couple of hours so it would magically fix itself and then cranked it back up and revved it several times it while making horrible noises from the pump. They finally figured out that the rope was in there and removed it and went riding, only to come back with the ski full of water from the cracked hull where the rope ball had broken it in the intake area. Priceless..

yep last sunday I was at the lake and some guy had a newer SJ and put it in the back of his truck didnt close the tailgate when he drove up and the ski fell out in about 8" of water! man the guy was a real idiot! I helped him reload it and all he did was cry about how he scratched his tailgate on his new truck. All day I saw him out doing barrell rolls and i was impressed but It shows that even a jackass can ride a standup!

With all the lakes flooded around here I went to a constant level lake close to the house. It was around 5 or so,thinking all the idiots would have been weeded out by then.As soon as pulled up I got the (redneck voice insert here)I had a friend that used to ride those things.Do they still make those things. You know the rest.

Unloaded,Walking to my ski with helmet in hand A 20 something dufas runs up and says Do they have a helmet law on this lake:biggrin:Why yes they do was my response. He yells out(redneck voice)Yall stop we need helmets to his buddies unloading a couple of sl650s They loaded them up and off they went.

The line to the ramp was at a 20 min wait I saw them on lake later so I know they had to wait again to put in

I know it was dicky move but I had to laugh

the hispanics that don't speak english are the best. they come out with two seadoo's and 20 people. of course one stays on the trailer, because it don't run. the other gets started in shallow water with gravel bottom and they shake back and forth to get it to start moving until there is water under it and not gravel. poor pump.

I dont see what is wrong with that video :) I would love to try that (on someone elses ski) and maybe with a little deaper water on the landing.. the fact is standups are nowhere near as popular so you will not see as many jackass's riding them! Also standups are not as easy for anyone to hop on and ride.
