Alright well here it is...
This is just a summary but it explains most of it.
I started this whole jet ski thing from my friend. I was always very mechanically inclined and loved trying to modify everything. I moved from Australia with my mom and little sister because my Step dad cheated on my mom and we moved out. It was really hard for her to rent a house and pay for everything there. About a year later we decided to move back. I moved into my grandparents house with my mom and sister. They live on a lake (Lake Bella Vista). I then saw quite a few people out on the lake on these stand-up jet skis. I eventually got to ride my friends 300sx and it was awesome I then grew in love. I went on craigslist and found alot of 440's and 550's for sale. I didn't have any money so i gathered up some of my belongings to trade for one. I called people and searched for about 2-3 hours a day. I eventually landed one a month later. My mom and i drove 3 hours to Detroit to pick up a 1977 440. I was so pumped that night i couldn't even sleep. I didn't know anything about it so i didn't want to run it until i get someone to check it out for me. Ended up riding it and it ran great (For a 440, lol). Next thing i knew i wanted something better. I was on the phone for a couple of hours a day again looking for a trade. I ended up trading it for a 650 "that ran great". It wouldn't start so i pulled the plugs and water was coming out of the cylinders. Ended up finding out it sank. I ended up parting it out. I basically kept working my ass off with this jet ski trading stuff. I was a kid with a dream. When i had this 550sx i remember thinking that i could back flip it of a little wake LOL. Id look at skis on here and say to myself "Id never be able to get one of those". I then bought a SN sj from money i earned selling and trading jet ski stuff. I rode it and had numerous problems. I eventually traded other things for a Vxr Pro which I Swapped motors. I had trouble with that one too, but didn't have any money to fix it. I found a RN superjet on CL and loved it. I ended up getting it ($3300). My grandparents lent me money for the ski and im still paying them back. I rode that stock ski all summer (about 6 hours a day). It was the most reliable thing ever. I sold the SN 701 for $1000 to a local guy named Carl (Great guy). Now i only have to pay back $2300. I wanted to back flip so bad. Then Christmas time rolled around. For a Christmas and my birthday present i received a Bob gen1 Full carbon 60lbs w/ Hood. I got it used for $3400 shipped from the Ski Clinic, Thanks Derrick. The deal is that i have to give my mom $1000 though. My plan is to sell my RN hull for $1000. I received the hull on the 27th through roadrunner which was quite a pain. I ended up having to drive 3 hours to pick it up because they forgot to put it on the truck and it was already overdue. When i got there I saw that the crate was pretty beat up. I was worried that the hull was going to be damaged and i would have to send it back. Opened it up on the spot and luckily it wasn't damaged. I then drove it home with a few of my friends because they were pretty pumped too about it. I have been working on this thing for a week now. Hopefully im getting closer to a back flip. I want to get a limited setup and Xmetal trim but just cant afford it so im still trading and selling parts. Next summer will be awesome.
Pics to come.
