Dang it Tom, now you got my head all twisted. I was sure that taking a cylinder designed for a stock stroke and putting a 4mm stroker crank was the best way to make power. Now you tell me that the PowerHouse 4mm cylinder was designed specifically to work with a 4mm stroker crank instead of altering to stock stroke cylnder? That can't be right :thinkerg:

... did I use the corrrect font?

Sorry Matt I had to redo this post.....again. I personally am not the builder of theses and don't know all the science behind them but I know that they work- and work damn good!

For specifics on these pm Powerhouse performance.

I do know that like you said the 937 cylinders are made specifically for the 4 mil crank, and its a ton better than some other big name motors I've seen(not to name any).

Haha, I was being sarcastic, or at least trying to be.

I just wanted to point out that Zack actually developed a different cylinder specifically for the 4mm application instead of modifying cases and cylinder to use a cylinder originally designed for a stock stroke. One more piece of the puzzle that makes the Powerhouse 4mm 937 a monster.

Well after 2 late nites and listening to porting tools rage in the hands of my best friends Zack and Trevor ( countless thanks to them!!!) my ski is ready to test and the other Bob we are setting up with the same setup just a type 9 dry pipe instead of a Powerfactor will be wrapped up this morning and headin to my pond for some thrash testing.

Zack started mine last nite after it was complete at about 6pm and I felt like a little kid who just was told he was goin to Disneyland!!! The sound and throttle response are insane! I'm still just in awe of these motors.......much less the fact that one is in my boat!!!

Reviews to come tonite or tmrw am:)

Well some brief testing and the motor rips!! Still need to do some carb tuning yet and swap a prop out. Hopefully get that done after work tonite and continue tweakin it to perfection.

Big thanks to all my buddies in the shop this weekend! Zack,Trevor, Jake,Blake, and Josh! We ran it tight and made a lot of sh*t happen in a weekend and great friends make light work of major hell! Thanks again guys!

can you compar the type 9 and PFP already ???

I can say that the type 9 does require some serious hammering to make it fit and the hull required some relieving as well. Not an easy fit! As far as performance we weren't able to tell yet because of some carb setup on mine and ignition on the type 9 setup. Ill keep the thread updated asap.

Tommy, Jake might have accidently told you it was a type 9, but it is a type 4. Good pipe, especially with water injection, but a rediculous tight fit in a bob! For those of you checking out the pictures I dont recommend trying to fit this pipe in a bob. It took some hull grinding, a rediculous amount of hammering to reshape the pipe, and some work on the motor mounts to shoe horn that baby in there...I hope the starter never goes out for Jake's sake lol!

I'm sure that baby's going to brap hard ! But I new it would take some serious determination and engineering to get that system to fit.kudos for trying something different also thanks for posting the pics.

Keep in mind we didn't exactly design the BOB for a Type9 pipe. The pipes we use are B-Pipe and PFP, I didn't think anybody would even attempt to try and fit a Type 9 in a BOB.

Sorry for the confusion ......like Zack said its a type 4. Jake told me the wrong number. Either way the pipe is a tight squeeze but Zack worked his magic on it and it was "in like Flint"! Lil inside shop joke:)

Anyways after some carb tuning and prop changing my 937 is gettin pretty beastly! Gotta love big motors!

T-pain is this the same hull that you sold to a guy in Wisconsin? Would like to get some more info from the original owner.

Yea this is. I talked to Paul and told him to give you my number if u had any questions. Shoot me a call or text at 262-689-4063. This is an awesome hull and for what he is selling it for you are getting a smoking deal!
