Bob gen2 driveshaft and midshaft

What thepoop drive shaft and midshaft does this ski take? I have a 95-07 driveshaft and midshaft and the driveshaft pokes through the bulkhead 2.75" and the midshaft, slid in as far as it can go comes up .60-.70" short if hitting the bulkhead. At a loss, thanks

Are you sure your midshaft isn’t pushed into the housing more than it should? My gen2 used a driveshaft out of my round nose. It all just directly bolted in.

Ok, here's what I'm dealing with. The driveshaft is a WSM and is 26.20" in length. The midshaft is also WSM. The driveshaft protrudes into the hull 2.75". The midshaft only fits onto the driveshaft 2.75", so the very bottom of the midshaft doesn't even enter the bulkhead. If you look at the pic of the midshaft slipped on the driveshaft, it is bottomed out in this pic, the sharpie line on the driveshaft is where it's in line with the bulkhead. The midshaft is like 20mm or so from making contact. At a loss as everyone says the SJ stuff should bolt right up??

but you had all this bolted up in the superjet? Nothings new? Can you call the bob guys? They’re pretty nice guys and should be able to give you a solution

now put the midshaft and housing on the driveshaft and see if it pushes on all the way until the housing butts up against the firewall. if it does, you are good. if it doesn't, you may need a spacer between the firewall and the housing or just press the shaft out of the housing the required amount for it to butt up flush.

I contacted the ski clinic, they mocked up a pump in their gen 2, their driveshaft only protrudes 1.75" from the bulkhead, mine has an inch more than that. I'm at a loss as my driveshaft is 26.2 which should be correct... Waiting to hear back from them hopefully with more info.

Or they used a different midshaft or something. The same housing, maybe a different splined section. Hard to say. You could shorten the driveshaft.

Literally going through the same thing with my gen II right now. Driveshaft comes into the hull ~.5 inches too far. Using an OEM driveshaft and OEM midshaft
