Bob water seeping problem

I guess seeping is the right word. I haven't had it in the water for about 3 weeks and about twice a day for the last week I come out and have a good size puddle at the bottom of my hull. I have their drain screws pulled since I pulled it out of the water last and I don't understand where it is all coming from. Any ideas?? It's as if the water is trapped between the layers of carbon and it is slowly letting itself out.

No, there is a little dimple in the top layer of carbon and I stuck my air hose in it and sprayed it and water started to come up through the cracks in the top layer of the fibers. It just amazes me that there is that much and where is it all hiding?! I guess I kinda answered my own question. Is anyone else experienced this. I'd say I've soaked about 1/3-1/2 a gallon out in the last week

I have the same problem with my gen3! Leaks water around the scupper and exhaust outlets. (Hooked up the air compressor to those tiny screw holes that are maybe supposed to work as drains?) From there is seeps into the engine bay.. I really hope they did a better job on the hurricanes..

That's exactly what's going on, kinda disapointing. After riding it takes about a week to get all the water out of my hull after riding.

Yeah it's a pain in the ass, kinda pisses ya off. Pay too dollar for a new hull and ya get those type of issues

Does your ski have a foamed tray? That sounds like wet foam to me

I talked to a guy that that worked for the ski clinic and he said they packed them with the closed cell stuff then filled in the gaps with two part. I will be replacing the foam and putting a layer of s-glass or something inside the whole ski too.

Not to sound like a jerk towards the company but that's total bs you shouldn't have to do that when paying top dollar

I bought mine brand new and have had that problem since almost day one. I totally agree. But I guess that's the chance you take when getting a custom competition hull. I doubt everybody has this issue though.

On my second hurricane with zero issues...bobs were part of a learning curve. If you have a hurricane that has issues I would call Derrick.

Yeah I understand that, I've never brought it to attention because I knew that. Just like the gel coat issue. It's alright otherwise I've got no complaints i ride it hard and it treats me well for the most part. I was just seeing if anyone else was having this issue

Have you priced a Ricktor,Superfreak,etc.Not saying that you are well off,but when you say top dollar,those boats are top dollar bud

I think I actually said that to be fair . Regardless 6k 10k everyone has a different top dollar . And yes ur right those boats are very expensive
