You need to get rid of the stock carb, Buy a intake, and A 44bn carb,< That will make your ski run great, may need to adjust a little ,, That is what a alot of people run on most 650'ss

All kehins have replacable jets,Kehins are hard to identify size wise just by looking at the carb, you really need to measure the bottom of the carb to determine the size.Does it have an integral fuel pump or a separate fuel pump,28's had a separate fuel pump ,all others excluding the rare 50mm Kehin had integral fuel pumps on the back of the carb. The seat is not replacable on the Kehin unless you go with the whole carb plate with the larger needle and seat built in,but yeah it sounds like you need a new needle, don't worry about jetting till you have that straightened out. There are different springs for the Kehins to adjust popoff also, most people don't know where to find them.
