SX/SXi/SXi Pro BOught ski and not sure of the model. LOOK and HELP PLEASE!!!

So I bought my first jet ski and the guy posted it as a 750cc. I am not sure if it really is or if it is a 650cc. I am in the process of getting the registration and was wondering if anyone can help me determine what the model is. I have looked at other pictures on here of other peoples ski and can't find any that have the same looking side of the tray like what I have. I need to order a couple of parts and knowing the model would be helpful. If you know what it is please let me know. I am guessing by the last two numbers on the Hull ID that it is a 92. Thanks

It's a laser jet obviously. The handle pole has a solar panel on it. I think WFO knows a bit about these things. I don't know much about these skis but if you look at the intake tracts there should be a serial number stamped on the top and if it is a kawi it will say KAW then the cc of the engine then the serial number

Also they are rare and across the board they are not often riddin.

That's a single carb, 550 (faux PJS) F-14 BlunderJet.

Do yourself a favor, and flip that thing. Off it ASAP. Don't spend a single shekel on that POS.

That boat will cause you nothing but big time grief.

the winter basically. I know it needs a little bit of body work because the guy started to fill what looks like cracks with putty on the outside. Whats the damage the needs to be fix with all my time?

Without getting into the plethera of problems that plague that abortion...let me put it to you like this...

Let's say there was this woman who was kinda/sorta hot. Let's say she could be had real cheap and promised to do things to you that you only read about in "Dear Penthouse". So, you might think..."Hmmm OK, I can get behind this". Sounds fun, kinky, and cheap, to boot, eh?

But, the caveat is... that you will catch some nasty kooties, and she will suck all of the money out of your wallet, faster than one of Charlie Sheen's girlfriends... leaving you pennieless and desitute.

That scenerio, pales in comparison to what you will experience with that mess.

I had an F15 for a couple of years and never had any issues. I purchased it from the second owner and it was a 93, the ski was more suited for high speed than I wanted but other than that I had some real fun on it.

Okay so Aquaholic what you are saying is that it is a piece of :):):):) lol. I picked it up for $750 thinking that it was a 750cc. Now that I know that it is a 550cc what should I expect to get out of it if I sell it? What would need to be done to it to make it a reliable ski? Should I just sell this one and buy a 750sx to save myself the hassle?
Thanks everyone for the help so far

Mine sold for $1200 but I'm in MI and it was about this time of year. One had just sold on Ebay for $4000 (two bidders with zero feedback were out bidding each other). This was three years ago.

I will send a pic after I get off work in 30 minutes. It is fairly clean minus a little bit of rust on the spark plugs. Thats a bummer, I thought that I got a good deal :soapbox:

Hey Caseville9036, Did you ever do any mods to the hull of you F-15? What is the difference between the F-14 and the F-15? I am new to this whole thing so any help is appreciated. Thanks
