Bouys in Lorain Ohio

That would be cool ! I launch at near Lakeview Park at Marine International. Theres a ramp about 200 yards from the beach - I've been parking at the beach and just rolling down on a Roleez cart. Sometimes it's just me and sometimes some sitdowns rip the bouys . The local standup scene is all freeride but i'm trying to prep to race next season - If you know anyone else that wants to ride let me know or if you have a good spot i'll come out. We used to have 10-15 skis ripping bouys 2 or 3 times a week back in the day . I just got back into it and have'nt found anyone thats interested - Jetskiing sure changed since i was away ! What do you ride ? Thanks , John
I'm down with that - I was kind of bummed out cause i went down there to the Rock & Ride after work and all the standup crowd was leaving when i got there. I was hoping to meet some of you guys! I'm just getting back on jetskis - I used to ride in the early 90's and the sport was booming but since coming back to it it seems to be fading away. I went to an APBA race in Celina to scope out the competition so now it's practice,practice, practice. I'm riding bouys twice a week till it's too cold so if anyones interested - come on out . My little spot in Lorain is convenient because you can park your truck 50' from the beach so it's easy to put out bouys and to come in for fuel or a rest - I'm planning on ripping out there tomorrow. When I get back in town (Thursday) I would love to tear up some buoys on my couch (96 xp) if it's flat... if not I will be tearing up surf with the Cleveland Crew. I live in Grafton and I launch at Hot-Waters some times... not recently but I would do it again! pm me with some contact info when you plan on heading out...

Yes it has! Freestyling and Freeriding has kinda taken over in the stand-up world.

im new to stand ups and am looking for a group to ride with. you guys still meeting there?
I ride there twice a week weather permitting. Sometimes it's just me and sometimes there's others. There's not a big standup racing crowd around that i know of. I'm riding bouys alot to get ready to start racing next season. I'll be out there till it's too cold to ride in a wetsuit so if anyone wants to come out you're more than welcome. You can park your truck 50' from the water so it makes fuel /rest stops easy. I'd like to get some of the freeride guys out there - i'm sure they can fly around bouys if they're crazy enough to do all that X Games type ******** on skis !

Sorry I missed ya. I went out and rode from the new Shefield launch over to Lorain in a sloppy choppy mess then it was glass to the west of the break wall so I turned the RXP loose... Then we headed out to Vermilion and jumped waves the whole way back... Man I am beat!
Sorry tomorrow I am headed to the Hothole in Michigan with the Korn man!

I personally and my crew of couch riders we ride up and down the North Coast from New York to Michigan. I live in Grafton and would be up to ride any time...
