How is everyone mounting the U-bolt style bow eyes to your rockered? I can keep the bolt from being pulled out when under tow, but not sure the best way to prevent it from being pushed in?

The front has a little SS plate the hits on 2 tits on the shaft(lol) between the hull. The rear(inside) has a bigger plate before the nuts. Hope that makes sense. Just google bow eye for a pic.

I had a few raider ones but ended up putting them on my trailer for tie-down points. I ended up buying one of those expensive West Marine ones for my wife's SJ. I really need to buy an extended one for my Matrix. It comes with a recesed unit that doesn't stick out far enough to pass thru security cables.

what you're actually looking for is called a pad-eye.

West marine has a really heavy duty one, but kinda of expensive. I had to buy theirs because I needed it really fast, but if you can wait and find a Suncor distributor, I would get their brand.

I priced these out for my superfreak. They are just as expensive as the West marine stuff and take longer to get. You can also find discounts for West Marine online. If you dont like it, return it to any store.

Plus, I found that it doesn't mock up as easy with the square pad eye.

I used the shaefer brand found here:

Just make sure you match up the numbers correctly for the backing plate.
