Bpipe: Cutting my Limited chamber to Mod specs ???

Has anyone had any experience cutting and re-welding a factorypipe limited chamber into a mod chamber? I checked the website and it said the mod chambers only difference is that it is 1.5 inches shorter than the limited. Ive seen some threads mentioning cutting a ltd chamber, but was wondering if anybody had any experience with it or knows someone who has done it and the results. Cheers

Have you tried looking for a trade? It seems most people who arent happy with their chamber have mods and want a limited.

Have you tried tuning the water screws?

I've always "modified" my ltd pipes for ease of installation. You can saw a section out of it with a bandsaw or even regular hacksaw. This is done near the end just before it narrows down. I've always taken out 1 3/8". Of course you'll have to clean it well near the cut ends prior to welding.

with how much b pipes are going for now days you could probably find someone to trade plus cash! Ive never cut a b pipe but cut a few west coast 550 kawi pipes down years ago.
