Super Jet Bpipe head pipe paint?

Just finished a fun job of stripping the powder coat off of one of mine that has seen better days. I know the normal route is to throw some high temp paint on them. Has anyone ran one raw, do they hold up? I see that wax is selling them raw. Wonder if just some high temp clearcoat would work. Maybe I’m the only one that actually thinks they look good raw….

I send all mine off for ceramic coating. Keeps that raw polished look but will look good for decades and hold more consistent temps.

That looks great! Does it hold up with salt water use? I noticed the FP powder coat does not.

How much does it cost to have a pipe done?

I had all 3 parts of the pipe done for $175 and it stands up very well to salt.

I had it done in 2010 and here is what it looked like when I sold the ski in fall of 2022.
For reference, the factory powder coating was coming off after just one season of salt water riding.

I used Rust-Oleum hammered finish on a few head pipes and it has help up really well.
