Braapp factory UK. TPE1105 thread

ok, so the motor above after the toss of a coin is now mine, i had a few days off work so got on with fitting it.
part of this process is to go around and check all torques and pressure test, i realise this has already been done by erik, but i see it as necessary whenever buying an unknown part to check everything. well, as you would expect, everything was spot on.
i have to say, the attention to detail on these motors is exceptional. (you'll have to buy one if you want to see the transfers and ports) LOL.
the swap over from my scream 865 over to this motor has been nothing short of straightforward, once the order was placed and date given for shipping through 964 chris off here, the communication i have had has been brilliant. (chris do you ever sleep?) any questions i have had with regards to best setup, ignition curves, best props, carbs etc etc has all been forthcoming within minutes, sometimes hours. (he does sleep sometimes).
all this has helped tremendously in planning parts around the arrival of this motor, so much so that when it arrived last thursday evening in the uk, i already had everything in place for the swap.
fast forward a few days and here it is, pressure tested, static timed, jetted, ignition curves programmed in and fitted ready for the weekend to break her in.
i have to say a massive thank you to chris rauen (964 chris) for fielding all of my questions ( and relaying them over to Erik if he couldn't answer)
also a big thanks to chris giles of airtime products for help with curves and your awesome T/L set up and lightweight flywheel that make setting up so easy.
only time will tell how this performs and i'll be back to give my ride report soon.......if i don't end up in hospital that is ;-)

Water temp about 5 degrees C. Air temp around 10 degrees C. Adjustable water outlets to keep engine temp where it needs to be. :)

My home away from home.
It looked cold lol! Have to love that cold water testing. I should have a 964 in about a week, and really like reading up on anything TPE. Starting with the 964 this season and see how I do from there. My last engine was a SS 781, so it will take some getting used to, but can't wait.

That 1105 sounds really pissed off! Love it. Also really liked your combo! Very tidy!
