I picked up my ski on Saturday. Everything is good. Flush kit installed and working. I was able to take it out for a little while on Saturday only :frown:

I got back and started cleaning it up. Double check me and make sure I did everything I need to do. I run in salt water.
1)flush out salt water with engine running and water hose hooked up.
2)get rid of extra water after turning off water hose by blipping the throttle
3)spray WD-40 into screw fitting until motor dies or 20 seconds or so.
4)spray down everything I can get access to.
5)wet vac remaining water out of engine compartment.
6)general wash down with fresh water.

Anything else?

Now I want to add a seperate manually switch operated bilge. I think I know all the parts I need. I came up with a list from blowsion.com
1)bilge
2)45 degree spray fitting
3)bilge hose
4)on/off switch with wire
5)bilge mounting bracket
Is this everything?

Thanks for helping.

I got the flush out kit installed and working. The Yamaha dealer did this because Yamaha told them to. The ski apparently was supposed to have the kit on it per Yamaha.

What I'm looking for is tips beyond what the owners manual says.

Lots as happened since I last posted!

Here is my ski as of today. We installed Blowsion Klowners. I had to cut the exhaust side footwell down to better fit over the exhaust pipe. Thanks Beachjunkey for the help.

Next up is lots of grinding.

Thanks Bronson-It was good seeing ya last weekend. Bummed your ski wasn't working. Getting the holds in was easier than I thought it would be. I'll be tearing it up with ya'll soon enough. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get part of the basic grinding done.
