Super Jet brass fittings anti-seize ok?

my friend just installed his brass fittings for the B-pipe and head with anti-seize instead pipe dope. should seal just as good?

NPT fitting are designed to get tighter as you thread them in. I've always teflon taped them. If it's not much trouble, I'd say remove and tape the threads just to be safe.

anti-sieze is by no means a thread sealant but like dj said the threads are tapered, if it leaks just go another turn

Teflon tape or silicone is what you'll want to use. I usually use 1211 on water fittings.
