Surfriding broke 3 mounts and still rode the whole day

i busted 3 mounts yesterday after a bad landing and a lot of gettin rolled in the surf. i used a ratchet strap to hold the motor in place and it lasted the rest of the day. i was pretty impressed i kept waitin for it to let go but it never did.

What did you ratchet strap it too? I guess that beats going home early!

I couldn't believe he went for it, and from what i saw he wasn't to worried, still catchin air....
I'm pretty sure I found a "local" ridding buddy that is in to ridding as much as me:woot:

My lawnmower engine has been attached that way for a couple tears now.

i have strapped my motor down to the keepers to get through the day before. It works!

defiantly keeping a ratchet strap in the toolbox from now on. it's a great temporary emergency fix for busted mounts. weston you get that flywheel fixed? sucks you came all the way up and couldn't ride.
