broke my stock bars; suggestions for replacement?

Hey everyone,

We were out riding yesterday when the stock bars on my 2014 just sheered off. Crazy considering it was just normal river riding.
Regardless, trying to find out the best route to go is.

I'm located in Canada so looks like I'll have to order online.
Wondering if I should just get another set that allows me to use the same bar clamps or if now is the time to spend some extra money and grab an aftermarket turn plate and bars.
To be honest, I've only got 4 hours under my belt so still pretty much a noob. I've only used the stock setup so far and at 6'2 I do feel a bit cramped at full lock, so I thought I'd ask here if there's any recommendations that might help me grow with my riding in the future.
I'm trying to pick up as many good habbits now as I can since I'm new anyways haha :D

Thanks!

Definitely time to upgrade your stock steering for a quick steer setup with straight bars which will help get your weight forward for better handling. The options for superjet steering systems is pretty endless. I'm personally a fan of the over pivot or ovp steering systems because they give you max throw. Gets rid of the swing steering that is stock.. I also like riser bars and typically put a taller pole pad to get the pole up a little higher for cruising around with the pole on the pad.

My 2 cents being similar size is a straight bar for sure. But @JetManiac he offers lots of handlebar\ steering solutions

Not all bars are the same. Wax racing made for a thicker bar for this reason. We were bending some of the aftermarket bars as well.

Dirt bike handle bars may work

I don't know why everyone is recommending straight bars , to each his own but they put your wrist in an unnatural position IMO which means nothing it should be just like a Motorcycle , you sit on the bake and reach out like you are grabbing the bars , that is where the bars should be for me it's a 3 degree bend bar , I never understood the straight bar fad except for shifting the weight slightly forward.

My point is no one bothered to ask him what he is doing with the ski, he clearly said he is a noob with 4 hrs under his belt and immediately everyone thinks he should ditch the entire stock steering system and get straight bars, he obviously isn't riding freestyle if he has ridden for 4 hrs folks , IMO again he should replace the bars with ones he can ride with comfortably while he works on his riding skills, what the in the H E double hockey sticks is going on here ?

I used to break bars all the time until I went to thick chromoly tubing and filled it with epoxy resin with cabosil in it. Its overkill and its heavy, but it will not break or bend. I broke like 5 sets of bars(angled and straight) over a few years till I did this. Breaking your handle bars is VERY dangerous and could really F you up, ask me how I know...lol
