Freestyle Broken cradle

I had no clue i'ld fine this.
Back on the SXR for now.

I broke 3 last summer. After i every ride i grab my motor and pull on it to check. Just make sure that it didnt rub the bung on your cases too much, you may need to shim the new bed plate to your motor in order to get it to sit flat against the cases.

I have seen mine get lose and move more than they should. Maybe yours were lose??

That could have been the issue , loose bolt.

I do know all the shim were in place . They are marked since with engine removal they usually end up in one pile. Under the motor.

When you need to pull your engine, loosen all 4 engine bolts about half way out, then remove one, lift the motor, grab the shims out of the bottom of the bilge, set them behind that engine mount, repeat.
