Super Jet Broken ride plate

So I wanted to share this picture of my broken ride plate and what happened. So here's what happened, I was cruisin around my local lake on the super jet when I see a boat full of lakers slow down for me so I can hit the wake. So naturally im just sending it as hard as I can go because I have a sticker on the side of my ski that says "show me your boobs" and im workin to see some boob action. Anyway after this one particular jump I landed maybe 6 feet into the flat water so I landed pretty hard and my ski was riding kinda funny so I stop and flip it over and find this ish

Wow just water? Didnt hit a floating log or anything? Am I wrong to think the plate was compromised prior to the day you broke it and going off for the sake of boobies just finished it off?

It wasn't cracked or anything that I was aware of, and I defiantly didn't land on anything, as far as I know I just hit the water and broke it.
