Biker fails to notice missing leg

From correspondents in Tokyo
August 14, 2007 12:03pm

A JAPANESE biker failed to notice his leg had been severed below the knee when he hit a safety barrier, and rode on for 2km, leaving a friend to pick up the limb.

The 54-year-old office worker was out on his motorcycle with a group of friends in the city of Hamamatsu, west of Tokyo, yesterday, when he was unable to negotiate a curve in the road and bumped into the central barrier, the Mainichi Shimbun said.

He felt excruciating pain, but did not notice that his right leg was missing until he stopped at the next junction, the paper quoted local police as saying.

The man and his leg were taken to hospital, but the limb had been crushed in the collision, the paper said.

:eek:uch:

now, now, that's just crazy talk.

Not. I think you know what I am saying. You don't know it till you have experienced it. Gilgoneround and I were just discussing this topic after we got off the water today. If you have never busted a 100+ foot triple whipped over...chillin..checkin out the view....

then you haven't experienced life. :woot:

But when you come down from that triple and land on some retard standing in the middle of the track checking out his XR250 he just wrecked..........

Wtf......been there...done that......I like living. :)

i tried my first double this wknd comming out of the corner it was a 22 ft one and had mabe 40 50 ft from the exit of the corner to get speed up first time i cased it figured next time ill nail it easy.their is 2 trees on either side of the double about 4ft away i drifted over and parked the bike right into it.good thing it was the end of the day ill try it again next time

Just ride
theres noting better than hitting a huge double third gear tapped wide open on a 450...and theres also nothing worse than knowing your gonna case somthing. either way i still think its more of a rush rippen a track racen with all your boys on a track than anything else
