I didn't have to watch the show to tell you it sucked. Even in person he doesn't have a lot of personality. Heck, McGrath wasn't even that colerfull in person, but he had the presence of mind to know that his fans adored him. He came in the dealer I worked for, and signed autographs until his hand wouldn't work anymore (the day before a supercross, no less) . He felt so bad about it, and walked the line of people still waiting, and talked with everyone and thanked them for coming. Bubba signed autographs, but barely had a word to say. He was just there to fill his obligation to Kaw. Totally obvious that he didn't want to be there. Ricky was another guy that was great to have in the store. Friendly and polite. Great with kids, too. He seemed like he really had fun making the kids smile.
I can't see James' show getting picked up after this contract runs out, unless he starts taking lessons from Pastrana.
