X-JET................... Thats all I have to say :Banane01:
A WCF hull in hand is worth more than an X-Jet hull in the bush...:sneaky: :haha:
How's that for some "trash talk?"urr:
Rat, you better have Project Rat II ready to go! :hail::hail:
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :haha:
Hopefully I won't need a crane to move it :tomato: JK :haha:
you going to build that thing.....or just talk about it?
:haha: :haha: :arms: :arms:
Mine's just so heavy because of the aluminum exhaust tube! :cool2:
You shouldn't need a crane to move your X-jet---just toss the roll of fiberglass over one shoulder and pick up the resin with your free hand. :sneaky:
Sweet. I like smack talk. I am glad we have a diverse group of boats again. I don't want to look at 6 Superjets with 6 X Metal Poles and 6 B-Pipes with 6 Girdled Heads and Six lowered hoods with Six Aftermarket Nose pieces...
That would be boring.....

I'm going to bling the crap out of mine. If it's metal, it'll be shiny. I bought a metal polishing setup with about 8 buffing wheels and a ton of different compounds. Now I have to buy a few more compounds to buff out the sand-cast parts.
He who has the most bling wins right?
Actually, I am going to polish several parts, but it shouldn't be too over the top with bling everywhere. Anyone ever try to polish a stock rideplate?

Thanks. That's quite blingy.....and cheaper than carbon fiber. I know that it's possible to polish sand cast parts, it just takes a long time. The compounds you have to use are more like a flexible grinding wheel than a polishing wheel. I've seen a couple of fully polished b-pipe manifolds and headpipes here on the X. I think I can duplicate that. I plan on doing all this when the hull is in for paint.
Thanks SFL we can always count on you to come and and poop all over anything that dosen't say super jet on the side of it,I knew it was coming I just wasn't sure when, thank God the wait is over ,now I can get some sleep tonight. You know whether it goes in vintage custom or budget build this ski still fits the description and is not nor was it ever intended to be in competition with the $20,000 am freestyle boats.
sorry. i was a little confused by the title of this thread that you started.
i think your 300sx build is going to tear the house down!!!urr:
