Building my first ski with 1/2 inch cooling lines. Have questions.

I am currently starting to plan my new Rickter Edge build. I'm hoping to do a build thread if I have time. This will be my first ski with 1/2 inch cooling lines first AMERICAN hull too. . Can anyone clarify for me. I'm assuming after the head you switch to 3/8 cooling lines so you can use fcv and bypass fittings.

Just buy 1/2 > 3/8 reducers and run between bulkhead and manifold and/or pipe if you run two circuits. That's what most are doing.

One note: the translucent colored 3/8 hose will push onto the 1/2 inch pipe coming out the bulk head. So in this case no reducers needed with all the extra clamps etc.. Mine is set up like this

X2 I should have mentioned this as well. I have always used 1/2" T's and 90*s for convenience (Always have them around) and they don't clog as easy. Like Harbor said, most 3/8" tubing will push on. I usually use a little heat to help.

Can you vouch for those PEX fittings being the right size? I feel like there dimensions are a little off...

I use a PEX fitting on my X2 to reduce the giant siphon tube down to 3/8 cooling. I have limited running time on th X2 but no issues. Used PEX because I could just drive up to home depot and buy them.
